Gone, but never fogotten

LOSS OF A DOG
If you've ever known the joyful sound
Of barks that fill the air,
A sloppy kiss, a friendly paw,
A quiet adoring stare-
If you've ever had a special friend
To share a tear or two,
Or maybe just a wagging tail
To lift you when you're blue-
If you've ever felt the wrenching pain
That only death can send,
Then you have lost
Not just a dog-
You've truly lost a friend.
But God is good and treasures love
And there at Heaven's gate-
A sloppy kiss, a joyful bark-
Your precious friend awaits.

Panzer
1997 - 2007
Panzer came into our home in October of 2000 at 3 yrs of age.
His family moved from the country into the city of St Albert, AB.
They felt they could no longer keep him, due to this reason.
We had no problem opening our home and hearts to this wonderful
boy. Panzer went through a stressful time for the first month,
hardly touching his food and very depressed as he missed his
family and his (their) children so much. Thank goodness for
Kashus and our kids, they had him better in no time
I'm sure he often thought of his first family and
wondered what happened? Panzer had no need to ever worry again
if his family would leave him, for this was his FOREVER HOME. We love you buddy!

Panzer loved to go for long walks & chase
ground hogs. He loved to cuddle and gave the best hugs.

Shadams Cashus Clay (Kashus)
1995- 2006
Kashus was our very first boxer. He was a handsome boy that was bought as a companion dog.
Kashus had a huge heart and was the most gentle dog I have ever owned.
He was amazing with the kids and any of their friends who came around.
He always had to be where the kids were, he would be so excited when
they would come home from school, wiggling his whole body,
it was like he hadn't seen them in a month!
Kashus was extremely smart, caught on to what ever I taught him very quickly.
He was an Excellent family pet.
Kashus was diagnosed with Wobblers Syndrome in the summer of 05.
By Jan 06 Kashus was having a very difficult time with his back legs.
Hardly able to walk anymore he was getting so sore having trouble getting up and down.
By the end of Feb 06 we made the decision to help Kashus to the rainbow bridge.
One of the hardest days of our lives.
Kashus will be forever missed.

Kashus's Buddy Ike.
1989 - 2003
Ike was a mixed breed Akita X German Shepard
Ike was a wonderful family pet. He too LOVED children
When we first brought Ike into our home, we were living In BC
On 10 acres. He would not let any stray dogs enter the yard.
He was very protective of his yard and family.
Ike was also helped to the rainbow bridge at 14 yrs of age

Due to Hip Dysplasia.
